Graphs and Charts

From the results we gathered based on our audience research surveys i have produced graphs and charts to represent the information which was collected , this gives a clearer view as opposed to having the information presented numerically.

I first entered all the information into a spreadsheet , this gave me a clear overview of how many people had taken the survey and also allowed me to include only data which was valid, as some people did not take the questionnaire seriously

I was then able to convert the data displayed above into graphs and charts, I created a chart to show which age was most common , I also created a pie chart to display which genre was most popular

We found that the most popular age was seventeen years old, this is good because this age is our main target audience.

We found that social realism and drama were both the most popular genre as they had 39%

Then i created bar graphs which related to the awareness of short films and the purpose of their creation, whether they are created for fun or whether they are taken seriously.

We found that most people are aware of short film and also that the same amount of people take short film seriously.

We found that most people would not agree and say short films were created for fun but more to address an issue or get a point across. This is good because we hope to convey a message in our short film.

however others do believe short films  are created simply for fun which has been displayed in the pie chart.
